Orange Moon - 方大同 Been a busy week, will continue to be busy! So I'm taking some time to update this little space :) This week is down for work and preparing this and that for Freshie Camp. There's one on Monday, then work on Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is down for camp as well. Then I start school on Monday, 20th. Then I'll work on Saturdays and Sundays. On top of that, I won't be skating that frequently anymore, explains the fact that I'm not going to get skates. Not due to the lack of passion, due to certain reasons that are long and draggy and personal. That's not the point of this post, really. So, one fine day, we picked up Hunter. Then now, we're going to foster Dale, the Golden Retriever. From the blog, Homeless In Seletar we know that Dale has been abandoned, common right? It doesn't stop there, we read that Dale's owners (who are probably going to get in deep shit soon) left him out in the open (tied to a tree, if I'm not wrong) for days. When I saw him today, his neck was sore and red. It doesn't stop there. The owners actually bought a new Husky puppy. Srsly, I have no idea why would anybody want to abandon their pups in the worst way possible. This is a call from a contact who saw the neighbour leaving their dog tied up the whole day in the compound for the last few weeks. Upon enquiring why they treat the dog this way, it was discovered that the family does not want the dog anymore and is leaving him there for someone, anyone to pick him. They don't care who does just as long as the dog leaves. The saddest part, they have recently acquired a young husky. So in comes the new and out goes the old. There you have it. He looks like.. this! He was really really good with humans. Affectionate and I think he is still waiting for his owners to come pick him up. There were zero signs of aggression and he wagged his tail non stop. Throughout the entire time Adrian and I handled him. Next up. Driver to happily knocked this puppy (Tripod) and drove off. Srsly, I hope you feel guilty enough because the puppy had to amputate his left limb because it was left there on the road to fend for himself and maggots grew onto his flesh. An extremely kind taxi uncle found him days later and brought him to the nearest clinic and wanted to pay for Tripod's medicial fees. ![]() ![]() He is a Rottie mix (most likely). Reminds me of Titus, awesome swimmer despite losing his hind leg. From TK's blog. 4 legs, 3 legs or even 2 legs, a dog will always be able to adapt and love you no matter what. And with such a strong fellow wanting to live, he would love to be trained and loved in returned. If you would like to adopt Tripod, or contribute to Tripod's medical funds. Do not hesitate to e-mail killertouch@hotmail.com If you wish to get a cat or a dog, irregardless of which animal really, as a pet. Think twice or more. Do not get them as gifts unless you are absolutely sure that the reciever is ready for a life long commitment. Hello, we're talking about a life here and not a toy that you wish to cuddle for 1 week and then abandon because it's not that cute anymore. Labels: club4paws, doggie adoption, republic
