I Want To Know What Love Is - Foreign Ooh, didn't sleep well last night and went to work grumpilyish. Boston followed suit and was grumpy as well. Avante and Flapper had a great time rolling around and nipping at one another's ears. Boston only looked on. Sometimes, I wonder what my little monster is thinking about, he's just so unpredictable. Went to the main holding area and saw Hunter and Stormer playing happily, Sam sorta looked on as a proud father, it was pretty heart warming to see Stormer (full grown Dobermann) having fun with a tiny 2 month old puppy. :} Came home and had paperbags lying on the table :} Paperbags can only mean one thing, Momsie went shopping. She bought me lotsa goodies! I am SO glad that my Momsie has impeccable taste when it comes to shopping for her fussy/whiny 18 year old daughter. I have never seen something that I didn't like. :D Adding on, my laptop sleeve arrived! Elated. It came with a handwritten note, very nais. I really really really want a pet tiger. I'd name him Harlem if it's a boy tiger, if it's a girl tiger, Vienna. For now, it's just my baby monster, Boston. Note to self: Drink water constantly, don't only drink when you realized your head is spinning and you're on the verge of dehydration! You are really prone to dehydrating after that incident. Drink water !!! Labels: Boston, club4paws, shopping

Edge Of Seventeen - Stevie Nicks So, I promised to update more on this little space. I should spend lesser time on Facebook! :( Work was pretty okay. Went home, showered and went out with Momsie again. I'm tired now, so tired! Didn't really do much at work but I'm tired. I think I'll just sleep and wake up bright and early tomorrow. Time to study for UT as well. Enterprise skills, I am so going to ace you. Or so I hope :( Labels: club4paws, republic, tiredtiredshagshag, work

Lonely Christmas – Eason Chan So here I am, sitting at the reception desk of Club4Paws, waiting for business to stream in. How many times must I emphasize that the groomers and the day care functions under different companies? I think I've repeated the groomer's number like 6 times today, it has only been 3 hours into work time. Terrible terrible people, who don't bother to read properly, rot away. Some guy came into the doors asking if we sold shock collars. Felt like ___________________________________________________. You can almost imagine what I want to tell/show him, right? Why would you want to shock your dog just because it barks?! That's equivalent to super gluing a baby's mouth because it was crying. Morons. MORONS. I am totally against the idea of shock collars. The misconceptions about choke chains are so overwhelming that it's pissing me off. Choke chain is only choking when you use it wrongly, duh. If you don't know how to use it, it doesn't mean that it will hurt the dog. it will only control the dog's head because dogs can be controlled when their heads are in control. Momo keeps asking me why am I so persistent when it comes to working with the Club. I think it's because I enjoy my work here and though I don't earn much, the amount I earn every month is pretty satisfying; Also considering the fact that I'm studying at the same time, it's pretty cool. *nods in agreement with self* I don't know how am I going to survive my UTs, simply because I don't bloody understand what Beng's and Renny's 6th P are talking about. I understand what's going on and all, but when it comes to applying, I have the slightest clue to what is happening. I don't even know why am I blogging about school. Blogging about work is just bloody dangerous because all I'm going to do is to bitch about the customers that I don't like. Horrible people we have here sometimes, joo know that? I find myself really weird sometimes. I listen to the weirdest range of music ever imagined. One minute I'm listening to Crystal Castles, Goldfrapp, then Hacken Lee & Alan Tam, next, Artic Monkeys followed by Eason Chan. Omg, so bored during work now, where are all the cute dogs :(? JUST SAW A PUPPY WHO LOOKS EGGXACTLY LIKE BOSTON :D

Halo - Beyoncé Woa, I'd never know I'd listen to Beyoncé. Thanks to work, I listen to Class 95 EVERYDAY. I can almost predict their playlist. Lady GaGa's Pokerface. Beyoncé's Halo. Some-song-where-the-lyric-says-"and speaking of hell it doesn't compare to the heat that I am feeling. Composure, compusure, yadda yadda yadda". Bananarama! I LOVEEEEE, must resist the urge to break into a stupid dance move on 170. Fucking embarrassing when the makciks and uncles stare at me like mad when I listen to songs like Love In The First Degree cus I keep bopping my head to the beat...*flicks hair* ^Most redundant blog post paragraph ever. Thank you for patronizing my dumb subconcious thoughts on semi-long bus rides. My weekdays with Club4Paws are ending soon :( Fucking sad, sad, sad and sad. I'd only be back for weekends IF I can. Fuckkkk, and I'm just getting used to the routine. I haven't cussed in a long time. Good times don't last, at all. Unless you're dead. I'm serious. SCHOOL IS STARTING SOON AND I HAVEN'T PURCHASE MY KUSTOM MADE LAPTOP SLEEVE. I'm having a mild panic attack now so I should just start blogging with pictures. SAY HI TO DALE (SO CUTE RIGHT!!!!!!) and feed him some lean meat treats can. This is my monster, say hi to Boston-the-beng-who-is-damn-dulan. He just cuddles up against me when we're waiting for the mother to bring food home. Okay bye. Watch tv and blop around. Plurk/Brute/Blogs. Labels: Boston, club4paws, dale, republic

Orange Moon - 方大同 Been a busy week, will continue to be busy! So I'm taking some time to update this little space :) This week is down for work and preparing this and that for Freshie Camp. There's one on Monday, then work on Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is down for camp as well. Then I start school on Monday, 20th. Then I'll work on Saturdays and Sundays. On top of that, I won't be skating that frequently anymore, explains the fact that I'm not going to get skates. Not due to the lack of passion, due to certain reasons that are long and draggy and personal. That's not the point of this post, really. So, one fine day, we picked up Hunter. Then now, we're going to foster Dale, the Golden Retriever. From the blog, Homeless In Seletar we know that Dale has been abandoned, common right? It doesn't stop there, we read that Dale's owners (who are probably going to get in deep shit soon) left him out in the open (tied to a tree, if I'm not wrong) for days. When I saw him today, his neck was sore and red. It doesn't stop there. The owners actually bought a new Husky puppy. Srsly, I have no idea why would anybody want to abandon their pups in the worst way possible. This is a call from a contact who saw the neighbour leaving their dog tied up the whole day in the compound for the last few weeks. Upon enquiring why they treat the dog this way, it was discovered that the family does not want the dog anymore and is leaving him there for someone, anyone to pick him. They don't care who does just as long as the dog leaves. The saddest part, they have recently acquired a young husky. So in comes the new and out goes the old. There you have it. He looks like.. this! He was really really good with humans. Affectionate and I think he is still waiting for his owners to come pick him up. There were zero signs of aggression and he wagged his tail non stop. Throughout the entire time Adrian and I handled him. Next up. Driver to happily knocked this puppy (Tripod) and drove off. Srsly, I hope you feel guilty enough because the puppy had to amputate his left limb because it was left there on the road to fend for himself and maggots grew onto his flesh. An extremely kind taxi uncle found him days later and brought him to the nearest clinic and wanted to pay for Tripod's medicial fees. ![]() ![]() He is a Rottie mix (most likely). Reminds me of Titus, awesome swimmer despite losing his hind leg. From TK's blog. 4 legs, 3 legs or even 2 legs, a dog will always be able to adapt and love you no matter what. And with such a strong fellow wanting to live, he would love to be trained and loved in returned. If you would like to adopt Tripod, or contribute to Tripod's medical funds. Do not hesitate to e-mail killertouch@hotmail.com If you wish to get a cat or a dog, irregardless of which animal really, as a pet. Think twice or more. Do not get them as gifts unless you are absolutely sure that the reciever is ready for a life long commitment. Hello, we're talking about a life here and not a toy that you wish to cuddle for 1 week and then abandon because it's not that cute anymore. Labels: club4paws, doggie adoption, republic

Home - Michael Bublé New shirt :DBeen busy with work. Went out with the Barflies for dinner yesterday (which was fucking hilarious) at Selegie and short chit chat session at Timbre before heading home. Worked today and had Gordon fetched a bunch of us to Bugis for hot pot dinner which was damn hilarious as well. Fuck You Very Much - Lilly Allen Club4Paws Petacular-Spectacular event is O-V-E-R! The website is going to be done soon. Pictures up soon. Etc etc. Adrian's going away on a dive trip next week! Unfair!! Walao! :( Event was enjoyable, fun, tiring....Somehow I managed to fall half asleep beside the agility run when someone was giving a powerpoint presentation. Jack and Avante Santa Maria (yes, that's the dog's name) was...as usual lightening up the spirit. We danced to YMCA with the dogs and changed the lyrics to SPCA :) Awesome Emcee! Although he called me Lindy throughout the entire event when I introduced myself as Lin. Bought a SPCA shirt, for a good cause. Learnt how to use the NETs machine! Muahahahaha. I am good. Next event coming up soon, marketing stuff coming up soon too. I don't know what else but school is more important. Still a part-timer here but of course I want to contribute more. School is defintately more important. Part of me can't wait for school to start :) Please don't ask why I'm doing so much of paragraphinh. Just can't seem to collect my thoughts. I don't know how's the school is going to be like, what am I going to do. What kind of friends am I going to make, what interest group am I joining. How long is it going to take me to settle in. How many days will I enjoy out of my five schooling ones. Many questions. Left unanswered till.....20th April onwards? :) We'll see....we'll see. Watching The Pacifier and I think it's really funny so I am just going to stop typing here. Toodles! Problem with slogan tees, are they actually reading and receiving the message or are they... just staring at something else.

Smile - Lilly Allen I'm not skating on a Friday night. Hmm. :< 'Cus I'm not feeling well and my mom doesn't allow me to skate this weekend. Reason why? My bruises. Which don't exactly hurt anymore. So I wonder why actually. Oh well. Boston is next to me and we're just spending time together and I like it :D Just came back from Bukit Panjang because I went to go see them for a little while. Thanks Ace! For fetching me to and fro from BPP back home :) Driving skills are not bad :D! Anyhoos. Didn't manage to snag the IT show job, so I went back to Club4Paws to work. See, we were just talking to Danielle's parents and some lady came knocking at our gates and telling us she saw a puppy alongside the railway tracks.
Yes, Adrian and Sam (my colleagues) are major Suzuki Swift fans. We suggested names like "Oei", "Rocco", "Trojan". Blablabla, but we thought Swift was the best. When we picked Swift up, he smelt like gasoline and had a lot of bugs stuck on his fur! Showered him with my favourite Korean shampoo and he smells a little bit better. Going back on Sunday to give him another shower since there's an event going on. Isn't Swift lovely :) Club4Paws adopted him :) Hope he grows up to be a ... small little boy. Small easier to take care. Going to bring him to the vet soon! Going to Sembawang tomorrow for their Rookie Competition. To all who are joining Rookie Comp, all the best! :D Labels: club4paws, inline skating, sick, Swift
