Surprise Ice – Kings Of Convenience

School has been relatively enjoyable. I've got a bunch of friends whom I pig out on food with, listen to music (loudly) with and random chattering of nonsensical stuff. Hedonism at it's best. I don't know how long will the fun and joy last though. Gut feeling of school getting more draining and it doesn't really help when Renny suggested that Science will be only getting tougher because he is in charge of the Problems for the upcoming weeks. It honestly doesn't help that I'm given the freedom to look around Facebook and random blogsites when I'm in class. I still do not have that much of discipline to be concentrating on my work.

I'm still feeling really sore from something I cannot place my finger on. It's a constant nag at the back of my head, it's muffled and blur. It looks like static on a television except that it's red. I don't know if you understand me but I cannot really be bothered. I've been having fun and all, but I still cannot figure out what's holding me back from having full fledged fun. Fun-ness that makes me smile from my blackened heart.

//jugular veins.

Anypoos, enough of mindless rambling. I'm back on my usual music blog hunting groove.

You Know I'm No Good - Artic Monkeys

I am so bloody pissed off with my Faci. I have no idea what's wrong with him and why does he keep questioning me and he is constantly INTERRUPTING whatever I have to say!

I joined the Electronic Music Production IG at RP. Woo, maybe I'll be as good as Mark Ronson/Adam K/Uffie. HAHAHAHA. *smacks head*

I wanna walk but I run back to you,
that's why I hate myself for loving you....

Crimewave - Crystal Castles

Some REALLY REALLY REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY overdued pictures from KM8 (when it was still around) with Thiang, TK and the boys (Bear, Bruno, Boston) and one girl (QQ).

This is what happens in a car, with 2 huge rottweilers, 1 mongrel, 1 Mini Schnauzer and 3 humans.

Bear, Bruno, QQ's perky butt.

OOO MY BABY BOSTON MWAHS MWAHS XOXO.

Booze for the day. Sarongfly had a fly in it. It was SO gross I thought they were serious when they named in Sarongfly, so I was like, " TK, there's a fly in here, is it supposed to be here since it's called Sarongfly".
It was really disgusting. The color was nice thou, blue gray and purple.

Gucci gucciiiiiii goo.

MWAHS.

My um... bottle. Yea.

Lots of Caucasians, gays and all gyrating around the jaccuzi pool. That pool is so heavily sexed up and all. I've heard some people saying you'd get pregnant in the pool and they're not kidding. It is really sexed up. Nice good music thou.

Okay, that's about it.

******

Cognitive Processes (Chandra's) - B >> Good learning attitude and mindset, clear presentation, potential to do better by focussing on problem solving.
SO WHY B CHANDRA, WHY B!?
Science (Renny's) - B >> Due to assumptions and mistakes, haha!
Communications (Gini's) - A >> Provide useful input but never interact with groupmates, good RJ.
Enterprise Skills (Beng's) - A >> Provided real life experiences, response was downright direct, noted a question I asked opposing team, good RJ.

If I don't get C or D for Math. I am going to dance around.

Gold In The Air Of Summer - Kings Of Convenience

Me biting my lips?

This is how I look on a typical day in RP, it's the 2nd day of school and it's been alright. Met up with the seniors at TRCC cafe on the 1st day.
RP's learning approach is quite fun, but it's only the 2nd day and I feel the boredom already. Maybe I should really love my life, live it; Not because I don't have a choice, but it's something worth cherishing and rewarding.

Maybe I should.

Don't look back, don't think of the other places you should've been.
It's a good thing that you came along with me....

In The Way - Ne-Yo

Remember how I kept whining that I am not good with meeting new crowds. I take that back. DCID was fulfilling and I'd hold the memories close to my heart. Sounds corny huh! I've made some pretty cool buddies and they're probably the best kick-start to the new school semester, evar.

Magic Carpet Ride?
More like major grope fest.

Peace for Redbull, for it gives you wings.
Hate specs reflection.

Human Tangle.
:( Lester made me squat down then I couldn't stand up anymore.

Lester so cute! :D

My group :) I think I can talk and joke with them.. but I honestly don't think I clicked with all of them.
Honestly!

Just a little update before school starts. All of us complained of a boring class so I hope we'll bring the CCC vibe to them :)

You guys are AWESOME.
Srsly.

Make Up Smeared Eyes - Automatic Loveletter

RP Orientation Day 3.

Okay, today went by really really fast. Started out in the day and checked out my classmates, comparing it to the CCCies. They were horribly QUIET and... quiet... and... quiet.
Me: Hi, my name is Lin and I'm from CCC
Class: ......
-_- I think I'm way too accustomed to CCC's replies and hyperactiveness. We did the domino ripple thing which was basically a waste of time. I didn't even know what was going on half the time. Wtf? Went to the toilet with Tabi and some other girls and when we were back, the whole thing was done. Double whammy wtf.

Went back and suddenly we're down for the performance. We realized the script was missing...everything was done impromptu and it was fucking painful to kneel for so long on rough carpet. Skip skip skip. Lame performances and we were dancing.....and dancing....and dancing......AND dancing....You get the picture? We basically danced non-stop. :) I think my faculty mates can really groove. Yum.

Okay blablablabla. Went back to homebase and bid our goodbyes whilst smelling like really really stale towels.

In a nutshell, it was really cool to meet some new friends from CCC. Centre for Culture and Communications. I said it once and I'd say it again. Centre for Culture and Communications! Rah!
Awesome course mates, awesome SLs.
*thumbsfingerseverything up*

I had fun. I lost my voice and I should get ample rest.

CCC, YEAH!

Chillout Session - Paul Van Dyke

RP Orientation Day 2

Today is the day I found myself a puke inducing, revolting irritant. Oh, how I love exaggerating, honestly. I gave a lot of blank faces and blank stares. So people kept asking if I was stoning and mentioned that I looked lost. But I was fine, perfectly fine, just mind-fuckingly tired. I am tired :(.

Today was pretty fun fun fun! Resumed certain games and suddenly we had to go for Tug-Of-War, which was absofuckinlutely demoralizing by the way. I cannot stand the feeling of losing even after going in to the semi-finals. What the fuck do the opponent team members eat!? With all the other schools cheering and screaming for god-knows-what under the blistering sun watching people's faces cramp up; I honestly wondered why couldn't we just head over to the canteen and nom on food.

Nom
nom nom nom nom.

I am down for the skit, only because Lester asked us to. I honestly honestly HONESTLY thought we (Mel, Me, Haren) were about to get scolded because we're fucking lame and annoying. Then I realized I needed to be a snake and have to look like I'm terrified by some wolves and random things which don't excite me. I felt stupid but I did it for fun. I think. I'd be more enthusiastic tomorrow... I think. I was honestly falling asleep just now, honestly.

On a side note, I think CCC is pretty cool, honestly. A concoction of various attitudes and mindset, not afraid to voice out (duh) and convey their message. Participating and spontaneous bunch of whackos (double duh). There's a reason why we are in DCID. I hope I made the right move.

Honestly.

Edit:/

I TOOK A PIC WITH Haren and my hair is half fucked.
Yes, duh, darlings I know the laptop and webcam is connected to the motherbig projector screen. I DON'T REALLY CARE.

Three Wishes - The Pierce

RP Orientation Day 1

It actually felt more like a DCID Orientation once more because we didn't really interact with the other schools. Maybe not today, soon, but no.
It was fun. Bitchy and fun. Centre for Culture and Communications. Wonder why didn't they name it School of Culture and Communications. Every other faculty starts with School, but just us. Like SIT, School of Infotech, just sit down. SEG, School of... whatever. SHL..... sports, health, leisure? STA, school of technology and arts? K, whatever.

Nope, no picture of everything because I absolutely do not welcome the idea of hanging my phone on my neck for the entire day.

Had games like crosswords/rape the raffia string (my group came up with the name)/some random vocabulary game/guess the function of certain creams and Glucosamine and stuff like that/puzzle games and whatever lah really. Now I seriously understand how they came up with 40 freaking game stations littered all over the campus. I think my group completed only 14 out of 40.

Some SL outside the library with the drawing game was damn sarcastic. I'll snort in your general direction, kind sir. Irritating.

My feets feel suffocated. Been long since I wore covered shoes. OKAY I LIED WHEN I SAID I HAVE NO COVERED SHOES. I have a few dunks and stupid mary janes which don't even feel comfortable.

*grumble*

That's beside the point. Orientation was fun, I don't sound like I'm having fun because I am severely lacking in sleep. I am freaking tired.

My OGLs are Sheila, Lester, Zacky/Zaki?/Ahmal. I have no idea how are their names spelt but they sound like that. Fun bunch :) My group is called Chilli Padi (no idea, don't ask me) then we renamed ourselves to Chillay Paday. *laughs uncontrollably*

Many freshies find me familiar. Henceforth, I conclude that I have a very common face.

Aka M80 The Wolf - Portugal The Man

Just managed to browse through LEO and check out my classmates and schedule. Classes officially start 8:30am in the early morning. Yes, early morning. HOW IN THE BLUE HELL AM I GOING TO SURVIVE!?

I'm probably going to die a horrible, horrible death. Cross my heart and hope that I do not get lost.

Goodnight.

History Of Lovers - Iron and Wine & Calexico

I've came to a cross junction where every car seems like it's driving towards the wrong direction. I assume some cars are going to crash soon and there's probably nothing much I can do. Hmm, it's the time when I start wondering what I'm doing, what I should be doing and what can be done. Am I making the right move? Or did I just close my eyes and entered in the course code without thinking twice. Rational?

I can't wait for school to start, for reasons besides anticipating what the course has in store for me. Sure I like languages but I don't see me excelling in it, unless I want to, of course, you'd say. I want to get out of this place, it's getting infuriating when you're blamed for things you didn't even partake in.

Spoke to a newfound stranger today and he said,
so i ve come to a conclusion that as long as u re not at the end of the road, u ll never enjoy the travelling part.
somewhere along the way, there ll be just something u hate
+2. Figured I should start to accept that instant gratification isn't that....gratifying anymore. I should take things slow and work my way up. I secretly blame microwave ovens but that isn't really the point.

Gone are the times where I can be excused and forgiven without a single bat of the eyelid. My actions are taken seriously and it affects the future. Gone are the times where I can be like Kyra (my employers little daughter) smiling like she really meant it because her remote controlled car knocked into Dale which woke him up from his sleep. Gone are the times when things were less complicating, phony and doused with the fake shit.

Seems like all the hurdles are placed too closely to one another. It's possible to overcome them but it will take time.....

A very long time.

Halo - Beyoncé

Woa, I'd never know I'd listen to Beyoncé. Thanks to work, I listen to Class 95 EVERYDAY. I can almost predict their playlist. Lady GaGa's Pokerface. Beyoncé's Halo. Some-song-where-the-lyric-says-"and speaking of hell it doesn't compare to the heat that I am feeling. Composure, compusure, yadda yadda yadda". Bananarama! I LOVEEEEE, must resist the urge to break into a stupid dance move on 170. Fucking embarrassing when the makciks and uncles stare at me like mad when I listen to songs like Love In The First Degree cus I keep bopping my head to the beat...*flicks hair*

^Most redundant blog post paragraph ever. Thank you for patronizing my dumb subconcious thoughts on semi-long bus rides.

My weekdays with Club4Paws are ending soon :( Fucking sad, sad, sad and sad. I'd only be back for weekends IF I can. Fuckkkk, and I'm just getting used to the routine. I haven't cussed in a long time. Good times don't last, at all. Unless you're dead.

I'm serious.

SCHOOL IS STARTING SOON AND I HAVEN'T PURCHASE MY KUSTOM MADE LAPTOP SLEEVE.

I'm having a mild panic attack now so I should just start blogging with pictures.

SAY HI TO DALE (SO CUTE RIGHT!!!!!!) and feed him some lean meat treats can.

This boy, is improving sooo super duper quickly that... he can paw/sit/down. AIYOH SO CUTE LA. Just that his teeth/gums are still kinda weak. Hind legs are darn weak too, takes him at least 15 seconds to plant his ass on the ground.
Swimming wise - Adrian said he's better today, uses his hind legs but still swiming slowly... so half the time you'd think that he is about to drown.

The funniest thing ever is when he drinks from a dog bowl, he sticks his left paw in it then drink at the sae time. Absolutely no answer to why he does that. Still cute and manja.

This is my monster, say hi to Boston-the-beng-who-is-damn-dulan. He just cuddles up against me when we're waiting for the mother to bring food home.

Recalling is better and he's more willing to listen and stay put. Commands which improved were five-five and wait/stay.
Woo!

Okay bye. Watch tv and blop around.

Orange Moon - 方大同

Been a busy week, will continue to be busy! So I'm taking some time to update this little space :)
This week is down for work and preparing this and that for Freshie Camp. There's one on Monday, then work on Tuesday. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday is down for camp as well.

Then I start school on Monday, 20th. Then I'll work on Saturdays and Sundays. On top of that, I won't be skating that frequently anymore, explains the fact that I'm not going to get skates. Not due to the lack of passion, due to certain reasons that are long and draggy and personal.

That's not the point of this post, really.

So, one fine day, we picked up Hunter. Then now, we're going to foster Dale, the Golden Retriever. From the blog, Homeless In Seletar we know that Dale has been abandoned, common right? It doesn't stop there, we read that Dale's owners (who are probably going to get in deep shit soon) left him out in the open (tied to a tree, if I'm not wrong) for days. When I saw him today, his neck was sore and red.

It doesn't stop there. The owners actually bought a new Husky puppy. Srsly, I have no idea why would anybody want to abandon their pups in the worst way possible.
This is a call from a contact who saw the neighbour leaving their dog tied up the whole day in the compound for the last few weeks. Upon enquiring why they treat the dog this way, it was discovered that the family does not want the dog anymore and is leaving him there for someone, anyone to pick him. They don't care who does just as long as the dog leaves. The saddest part, they have recently acquired a young husky. So in comes the new and out goes the old.
There you have it. He looks like.. this!

He was really really good with humans. Affectionate and I think he is still waiting for his owners to come pick him up. There were zero signs of aggression and he wagged his tail non stop. Throughout the entire time Adrian and I handled him.

Next up. Driver to happily knocked this puppy (Tripod) and drove off. Srsly, I hope you feel guilty enough because the puppy had to amputate his left limb because it was left there on the road to fend for himself and maggots grew onto his flesh.

An extremely kind taxi uncle found him days later and brought him to the nearest clinic and wanted to pay for Tripod's medicial fees.

He is a Rottie mix (most likely). Reminds me of Titus, awesome swimmer despite losing his hind leg.

From TK's blog.
4 legs, 3 legs or even 2 legs, a dog will always be able to adapt and love you no matter what. And with such a strong fellow wanting to live, he would love to be trained and loved in returned.
If you would like to adopt Tripod, or contribute to Tripod's medical funds. Do not hesitate to e-mail killertouch@hotmail.com

If you wish to get a cat or a dog, irregardless of which animal really, as a pet. Think twice or more. Do not get them as gifts unless you are absolutely sure that the reciever is ready for a life long commitment. Hello, we're talking about a life here and not a toy that you wish to cuddle for 1 week and then abandon because it's not that cute anymore.
