History Of Lovers - Iron and Wine & Calexico

I've came to a cross junction where every car seems like it's driving towards the wrong direction. I assume some cars are going to crash soon and there's probably nothing much I can do. Hmm, it's the time when I start wondering what I'm doing, what I should be doing and what can be done. Am I making the right move? Or did I just close my eyes and entered in the course code without thinking twice. Rational?

I can't wait for school to start, for reasons besides anticipating what the course has in store for me. Sure I like languages but I don't see me excelling in it, unless I want to, of course, you'd say. I want to get out of this place, it's getting infuriating when you're blamed for things you didn't even partake in.

Spoke to a newfound stranger today and he said,
so i ve come to a conclusion that as long as u re not at the end of the road, u ll never enjoy the travelling part.
somewhere along the way, there ll be just something u hate
+2. Figured I should start to accept that instant gratification isn't that....gratifying anymore. I should take things slow and work my way up. I secretly blame microwave ovens but that isn't really the point.

Gone are the times where I can be excused and forgiven without a single bat of the eyelid. My actions are taken seriously and it affects the future. Gone are the times where I can be like Kyra (my employers little daughter) smiling like she really meant it because her remote controlled car knocked into Dale which woke him up from his sleep. Gone are the times when things were less complicating, phony and doused with the fake shit.

Seems like all the hurdles are placed too closely to one another. It's possible to overcome them but it will take time.....

A very long time.

하루하루 (Acoustic Version) - Big Bang

Things that I've been thinking of when I wasn't busy falling trying to learn T-stop. Yes, I still cannot grasp T-stop. Someone just step my face.
Anyways, I've been thinking, we are always striving for the best. To look the greatest, to appear in the most amazing outfit. To want to live a better life and to constantly want a better better than the previous better. Dya geddit? I personally feel that I'm trying too hard to achieve something I can't. I don't know why..
Like paying exhorbitant prices for a exclusive Broadway show along the streets of Las Vegas and what do you actually get in the end.....? Pretty much nothing?

I'm not sure if I am slowing down to appreciate what's happening around me. I'm not sure if I am appreciating what I had before. Since I'm always wanting more, have I ever been appreciative of what I had? Recently, I realize the more I fight for something, the more I'm losing it, the grip is loosening and everything seems to be slipping away.

When I was skating from Petir to Hillview. I was wondering if I ever appreciated the luxury of having a transport (He drives good cars like Mercedes and BMW). That was the past. I wonder if I have the authority to despise him. Have I ever said Thank You? I guess sometimes conscience eats into my heart and makes me think. Give me another minute, I'm back to blaming him.

I'm always wanting things, I want a DSLR, I want a pair of Seba skates, I want a light laptop, I want new bags and shoes. I want new Ipanema and Havaianas... I want I want I want...
I guess it's a good time for me to slow myself down. Haha, the wanting part and speed up the hunger and urge to improve and appreciate.

In simpler terms, time for me to grow up and look at the world from another angle. I'm not who I was before. I cannot be who I was before. The more I want it, the more I'm not gonna get it. Unless, I fight and make it on my own :).

OKAY. See la, when I skate/urban. It's either I totally forget about everything or I start thinking a lot.......

等 - 李克勤

The 4th and the last term ends next Friday, 3rd October. How do I feel? Elated, overjoyed? It's a huge concoction of reactions that I can't put my finger on and decide. HSS days started off fun.  Really fun, it was quite overwhelming to change from a school like Nanyang Primary School to HSS in a span of a few months. There was a lot of Chinese speaking kids going around, was kind of awkward to converse in Mandarin. Hmm.

First day was when my dad dropped me off with his then new RAV4 with a new paint job and I left my transparent Nike water bottle in the car, then Ben called out and I scurried back to get it. Random enough but I remember it quite clearly.

Moving on, I think I screwed up quite badly for my lower secondary years. I don’t even recalling mugging for any exams for the heck of it. Seriously, can’t say I regret my decisions because it’s over. I had some really devoted teachers that I’ve known since the first days of school. Mdm Khong’s pretty cool, the way she criticizes people is just some talent that God decides to give her and I like the way she can relate to our mindsets.

Then there’s Ms David, Ms Yanti, Ms Toh, Mr Teo, Mr George, Mdm Salbiah, Mr Thiru. The list goes on and on. Ironically, the more I screwed up, the more the relationship between my teachers and I grew. It actually got better. Hahah, I’ve already accepted the, “If you can’t lead, you can only follow” rule if you’re in school. The people who are in authority are the ones in authority and nothing can actually change that lil’ wee bit of fact. As much as students hate it, they’d still have to abide to rules, if not, you get out. Without a certificate.

I don’t know what the fuck you can do with a PSLE certificate.

Moving on, I’d miss HSS. Yes, I’d definitely miss this place. I’ll miss the teachers and some friendships forged. I’m actually happy to leave it because of some of the people in this school as well. I’ve pretty much seen enough hypocrites that can last me 5 years. Then again, more to come, not to worry.

I’ll never miss the routine in school. Arrive, take keys, sign in, wait for 10:45, eat and talk, move up to class and wait for 2:15. Finish school and scoot over to get some bubble tea or head over to Subway/Koufu for lunch. Head home, do work, sleep, repeat x 365 days. I am more than glad to leave the routine, just for a little while.

Some really good friends I’ve met along the way? In no particular order but, YK, the one whom I’ve known since the 1st year, he’s one of those guy friends who takes good care of me. Jeremy and BK, from 1st year as well, although he’s annoying but he’s a nice guy that you can rely on if you just need to rant to someone. Then there’s Pamela and ChunHui, although I’ve only grown closer to them recently, it’s another special friendship that I’d hold close to my black heart (I’m very heartless one). Gerald and Benedict are the few who I’ll laugh with all the time. Gilbert, Kaixin, Yingeh and Chun Quan are friends that I’ll never forget as well, thanks, you guys.

There’s so many more but I can’t list all of them out. I’d crash the server or something.

Then there’s Elizebeth Megan Wong Xiao Wen and Alicia Tan Ying Ying,2 girlfriends in a clique that pwns the other cliques instantly. I’ll probably still remember them even if I just woke up from a 10 year long coma *choy*. I don’t know how in the flipping blue hell we managed to be such great girlfriends. We’re so hostile to one another and it just makes me smile from my heart when I know they’re such frikkin bitches. We’ve dreamt big dreams together and will continue to do so. From a stranger’s point of view, we’re all aloof and we just want to get rid of one another asap, there’s just too much death staring going on. We don’t need a huge horde of people in our clique. We just hostile one another can already.

You know, to heck to what people have to say about one another in front of us. Rumors and gossips can only go that far. People can try all their might to tarnish me or my reputation, but, I can’t be bothered.  As cliché as it sounds, I am who I am and nothing can actually change that. It baffles me, how people can treat friends like that. There’s so much hating going on but on the surface everybody looks fine and dandy with little frangipanis in their right ear, oh please, for the love of God, just stop it already.

So, in a nutshell, I guess leaving school after 5 long arduous years is easy. Technological advancements makes it so much easier, thank you all Greek mythology Gods, Benjamin Franklin and random scientists for discovering Electricity.

Meanwhile, mug hard friends, all the best for your GCE O’levels and work hard! See you guys at the finish line with a really good looking laminated certificate.

Bootiful Day - The Suns

I HAD MANY FUN LAST NAIGHT. *bursts out into a wiggle and a dance*
" Yeah! They wanna let ya'll know they're longer than 3 inches."

Been SOO long since I've heard live music. Really really good live music that is. Kinda miss the heydays when I went gig-hopping. Chops on the hands (loved the Gas Haus star, so pweety!) and off we go, good good music with good good company. Substation had the fiercest looking bouncers but they're actually really nice. People at Gas Haus damn fast to drag troublemakers out. Arts House is just plain, fancy.

Brings me to something mentioned on Dowagr's blog.

I wouldn’t trade any of last night for anything else. Who cares if this
isn’t the indie-st joint in town, with the coolest kids in their neon gears and
their oh-so-serious attitudes?

I think this is really really true. Holland Village has got to be the best places ever. I'd just drop by Holland Vee with momo to get some grocery shopping done or drop by Avant Garde when Johnathan says that new bags are shipped in. Whee. It's one of the nicest place evar. Really. You hardly see people dressing up like they're going to celebrate Mardi Gras or Halloween.

Over the top dresses and gladiator sandals, aviator shades, high waisted shorts, head bands, printed tees. ALL current trends rolling into one outfit is just .. *roll eyes*

You don't see people wearing skinny jeans with one color on each leg of the pants.
You don't see people wearing clothes that are held together by safety pins and nails.
You don't hear people screaming "NNBKNNBCBB!! ki toilet settle lar!! wu ji lai!!"
You definitely won't hear people playing techno music loudly on their neon blue Nokia whatever phones.

You see the old gramma selling 麦芽糖 with her little golden bell thing.
You see the old uncles sitting side by side. One fixes your keys, one fixes your shoes.
You see the ever super zhai Thambi magazine stall although it's kinda .. gone now. Still cool.
You see cute little caucasian kiddos walking around wearing full pink gear.
Teehee! Holland Vee also got damn good food.

Everybody (almost, I reckon) in Holland Vee is just there to soak up the vibe and take a breather. I personally love this place to bits, minimal travelling time is a pppplus! Although I hope that the construction gets done soon. Kinda annoying sometimes. I love crossing the roads at Holland Vee, from the bus stop. I know people always wait for the first person standing on the left to move first before they dare to move. I always happen to be the first one cause I hate standing there, too much dust. I can also get quite lost when I walk into Holland Vee at night. Dunno whai.

Oh well. Just felt like blogging.
Sentence structure fail.

Les Feuilles Mortes - Yves Montand

Was making notes for Geography stuff then my brother was out at the living room, he's seldom at the living room. It's only for dinner and when there's a good show on TV, living room's TV's bigger and clearer and tadah! Army Daze was playing :D Didn't slip my mind. It was friggin' hilarious. First jingle that I heard was "Why you so lidat?" Couldn't help but to laugh like a CRAZY woman cause Cakie mentioned it the other day on Plurk.

Had dinner at Rong Guang Seafood with some Barflies on Friday night, REALLY cold night. There was Roarrbin, Cakie, DPL (干爹! LOL), Leonard, Posh and Serendipity (?). The food was really good lah, although I don't take spice, but the sambal was really good! There was sambal stingray x2, sambal kangkong, sambal sotong, sambal la la (I don't even dare to look at it) har qiong gai, chilli crabs and mantous :) and cereal prawns! A LOT OF FOOD LAH, immense amount of sambal as well. Wasn't in the best of moods that night and I was surprisingly quiet, kept spacing out as well ...
Momo says we're gonna head over to Rong Guang for my birthday dinner. Yeay, szup.

I got to have my expressions written all over my face, it's making me so predictable. I just don't like the idea of being predictable and it's annoying, no? To have all your expressions and actions written clearly on your forehead. Like when you're pissed, there's a big red chop of "DU LAN" on your forehead. Tut tut tut ...

Prelims phase 1 starts tomorrow, about 5 papers and one practical. One week of holidays then Prelims phase 2 again -_-. Smart (____) planned it so that we have got NO choice, BUT to use that one week for hardcore revisions. *sneer*
Ending on 12th September :D but all hell's gonna resume on the 15th October ending on 11th November. SONG BOH?

Oraight, gonna go back to revisions.

Ride A White Horse - Goldfrapp

I think I fell asleep within 5 seconds this afternoon. No idea why but I was suuuuuuuuper sleepy. Was reading about the Dawn Yang and XiaXue fued the other day. I think it’s like a huge joke between two Bloggers who happen to just quarrel over something so minute and somehow or rather there are lawyer letters darting everywhere. *ponders*

I think it all boils to originality and superficiality, and I just don’t get it. DY has like what .. 2 million Blogs specially dedicated to her, just to flame her. Wao, I saw some of the blogs and wondered what the heck has DY did to land herself with soo many “exposing” blogs. Pictures dug up from birth and her days in RJC then to photoshopped pictures. Wao, the photoshopped pictures are REALLY classic. I’m marveled at how people can edit and touch themselves up to look so friggin different. Really.

Oh well. I think it’s not time for me to look all prissy and pretty. Indulging in big brand names like Gucci, Balenciaga, Goyard and what not can come later. I overheard this girl who said that her branded Guess? stuff is like so pretty, and she couldn’t stop talking about it (and obviously, her friend was totally uninterested and decides to look at the dustballs collecting on the bus' window sills instead), like omgah. What’s the big hoo-haa about Guess? again? Except that they brought in their very first Chinese model, Du Juan. Other than that, Guess? has totally lost it’s meaning (IMHO).

Momo thinks that I’ve grown up (hahahahahaha) and have thus stopped whining for that shopping spree that never comes.

Edi just mentioned he’s coming over to Singapore! I miss KL and the Adidas boys/FCUK girls and lovely lovely Damian and all the Starbies Baristas! I can go on and on.

Study time :]

Collide - Howie Day
Got this off Cowboy Caleb and it is somehow true ..

Today's probably the weirdest day ever. The heat super super overwhelming and annoying, and the faggots who keep drilling ought to spare a thought for us. Weird enough, with all the heat going on, I'm stuffing tissue up my nose, popping Clarinese and Atarax.

Oh, how much I hate running noses and watery eyes ...

The best way to study productively is to take small breaks. I still can remember Miss Quek's words .. she used to tell me that whenever I cannot figure out a bar or a phrase of notes, I should just take a break and come back 5 minutes later. (With all the crotchets and minims going on, I cannot sit down and decipher the notes slowly). That’s for my case .. I guess .

So there was like 2 big books of God knows what on the coffee table this morning, was mindlessly chewing on Sun Moulin toasts with my eyes closed until Momo decides to bombard me with the same ol’ questions. She made me read through my dad’s stuff. Boy, shitloads of receipts from various shops. Then Momo’s receipts were all from Supermarkets and grocery shops. *shrugs*

So my brother was asking me, “Are you bothered by it?”. I just told him that it was annoying, well, he agreed. I don’t know why I feel this way though, I thought kids when caught in a separation will be all emo-ish and stuff. Nah, he went off to play with Boston and laughed at Boston’s silly actions.

Oh well, I don’t know what happened, what’s going to happen or what will eventually happen.

I’ve just mysteriously and miraculously (at the same time), developed a liking and interest for the Northern Ireland conflict, between the Catholics and the Protestants with all the gritty British intervention and all. Grrreat time to start on Humanities revision!

Someone tell me what I should do for Accounts. *rips hair*

Friday I'm In Love - The Cure

(cannot help it, got a tendency to leave my music on loop)
No idea why but, as my title suggests. A huge emo tsunami just struck me and yes, the aftermath is not veli nice. Don't read this if you don't like lengthy posts. (Hui! Long post hor, cannot read! Hurhur). Very /wristdrinkwhiskeyeatvalium kind of post.

Dear Lao Bei,
Few days back I read about Pam's update about her dad (see, I got mention you). I miss being Daddy's little girl. Although you haven't been around for God knows how many years. I still do have a littttttttle bit of sadness lingering around. Cannot help it what, can't be as heartless as I thought I am. Kor just randomly said that he probably seen you 5 or 6 times in 2 years. Then .. I should see you even lesser since kor always drives out to meet you.

I think the last time we had dinner together was 5 years ago? We had dinner at the Japanese super dark restaurant in Paragon and I think that was it. When we were young (read : 3 or 4) we always had dinner at Dragon City (龙城) at Copthorne Orchird almost every week and the manager saw Kor and I grow up. We stopped going because .. we just stopped. We used to had huge Japanese feasts at Prince Hotel in JB as well. No more and darn, the food was real good. You used to say RM600 was nothing to you because it made us happy.

I rememeber when I was extremely young. I kept watching 古惑仔/super violent gangster cantonese movies with you all the time. I used to think/hope that you were mafia gang leader of some kind. Because in such movies, they usually treat their daughters like precious gems.

Till today, my report book only has mii's signature. The 'Father's signature' line is still left blank. How long has it been?

I used to count the amount of 'KNN !! ' you say into the phone. And made you smoke outside the other house because I really hated cigarette smell and when you quitted, I was so elated. Sorry but .. just to let you know. I learnt 'CB face' from you. Remember one of your workers decided to skip his whole M.O.M procedures and landed you in deep shit? I still remember Uncle Ah Tee, your trusty right hand man (or is it left?) and your secretaries. Your long term workers and your drivers ..

I used to go to your Sembawang office to look at the little birds and stray animals you keep.

The times I see you sums up to less than 6 .. Wao. 'Cause I'm very swa-ku. I just see what Dad's normally do with their daughters on TV. I recently saw the Family.sg commercial and I was wondering if my dad bought me shoes before. Umm, no. Not that I am exactly bothered because I can buy my own heels.

I have only shopped/walked with you alone once. Once. If my memory didn't fail me. I think we were shopping overseas at Burberry Prorsum (we were in slippers and shorts), you were looking at suits and ties. I saw a cute skirt but I didn't buy it because the price tag was just way too overwhelming although you insisted that I should get it . I think that was it. We went fishing together 2 times. Umm that's why I used to and still like fishing.

Some people have dads and god-dads, and please, I'm not talking about those you meet in school and randomly pick any older ahbeng to be your gan-daddy or whatever the kns. Cool beans.

Sometimes, just sometimes. I wished that I have a real dad. Someone who'd put food on the table, ask how my school went, tell me what boys I shouldn't be hanging out with, telling me that I mean the world to him and such. Isn't that what all dads do. I don't like empty talk, yes, my dad can text me stuff to encourage/send e-mails and such but .. it's so .. technology-ish. I can't even find a word to describe it. I also want someone to stop the fight when a quarrel erupts at home, even if it's just a grunt or a "不要吵!!", I also happy leh. I'm not asking for a lot. Just to stick to the people you love .. that's all what? Is that a lot?

Why do you keep saying that you are broke when we can find out what you have? Oh btw, we found quite a lot of your stuff through the lawyers, hur hur? Your shares are making monies and .. I srsly don't think I'm spending a lot. You should see how mii and I uesd to shop at KL, I think you'll go crazy. Then again, you know. Because I collect paper bags and you asked why I had so much paper bags and I just blatantly told you that this is the amount of things I buy.

Nevermind. It'll all be over soon and I'll be hating you again (as usual). *Shrugs*
This is just me, I can't change it.
I do hope that my mindset changes in the future. Really.

When The Sun Sleeps - Underoath

I always get random bouts of people travelling/or at other places, like, Robin talking about China, Mr. Jaywalk in China, Ms. Chew in Seattle, brother who was at California and San Francisco, Alicia going to Indonesia, Ainsley who went to Taiwan, Casper at Sydney with his girlfriend, Mimi at Paris and the list goes on and on.

I definitely miss travelling a lot. I used to frequent China and Hong Kong quite often when I was younger.Remember that feeling when you found out that you're going to travel and you always pack too early beforehand? The instances when my mom like to say, "Oh dear, we forgot lingling's passport." Yes, I do have embarrassing family nicknames. I used to fall for that trick, all the time. Till I was like, 10?

Anyhows, I love plane rides. Plane rides used to be for cloud watching purposes and transport to the destination of course. Technological advancements made plane rides a little tolerable but sometimes, I didn't like it when I was more engrossed in the pixelated Super Mario game rather than cloud watching. There were always stories of plane food tasting like shit but, I haven't experienced shitty plane food. *Shrugs*

I miss the times when you were checking in to the hotel, eating morning breakfast (for real) with your family and .. tucking yourself into the icy cold sheets of the hotel bed, smiling to yourself. Clutching the sheets and shuffling around, starting to get excited over what's going to happen tomorrow.

As I grew older, I realized I stopped all these silly actions. Everytime I went to Hong Kong, I just wished the plane would go faster, miraculously fetching us to the destination quickly. I've stopped cloud watching, began to ditch plane food because of teenage mindset. Reached Hong Kong feeling overjoyed still but it's not the same as before, when I was younger and how should I say this, more innocent and less materialistic ?

When I was in China, I remembered staying there for a long long long long time.I loved the electric blankets, I loved the HUGE aquariums that had neon coloured shrimps and exotic fishes in the living room.I loved running around in pj's and socks. I miss the little packet of things that we used to shake all the time which created heat (does anybody know what this is?). I used to stuff them in my coat pockets thinking that they might catch on fire. I didn't miss taking cabs when I was in China though, I don't think I had a great experience.

I loved the never-ending 小笼包s and also the 小南国 restaurant. Lots of gold everywhere and I miss going to the antique shops with my family randomly picking furnitures to be sent back to Singapore. Posing for the cameras and eating ice cream is sub zero temperatures. What's better than that? I know I don't miss the thick fog of cigarette smoke in one of the restaurants that we went to. Businessmen closing deals and eating eclectic Chinese delicacy .. I still remember them vividly.

I guess I've grown up too quickly and made one too many wrong decisions ...

As Above, So Below (French) - Klaxons

Call me paranoid, call me uptight. I always have the feeling of people bitching behind my back, all the time. May I suggest that half the time, my intuitions are pretty accurate !Why can't I apply that on examinations .Pffft .I probably have that feeling cause, I bitch about people .Nyeh, I won't create bitching topics, I just bitch on what's happening !I won't call it bitching anyways, I'll probably call it, discussions .Yeah, I like to give excuses .Just so you know, I don't give two flying xucks about whatever is being said, for I won't stoop to that level.

Whatever .I've probably got people who hates me, reading this right now !Oh, the irony :) .

Anyways, went to school for approximately 5 seconds because I needed to drop something off for Pam and rushed to meet momo and I think the cab driver secretly hopped that I stayed longer. Ms Pam told me that she saw my blog, Hi Ms Pam !

SERIOUSLY, I don't know how many teachers read my blog (Hello teachers !Have a nice day !).But that doesn't mean I have to be super discreet when it comes to blogging, end of the day, This is still my blog and I have the liberty to speak my mind , obviously, not the things that breaches the law .*duh*

Been utterly sick these few days .On anti-biotics that mysteriously dries up my salivary glands and make my mouth extremely dry.Amoxicap ?Whatever, you don't work and you smell like shit .I need some miracle remedy *prays*

And I've also been away from civilization these few days, been sleeping, doing work, more sleeping, eating (on a regular basis), doing work, procrastinating A LOT.It's just disgusting, at the rate I'm going, I can jolly well just flunk O'levels, whilst typing this, I'm planning my time-table on Microsoft Excel .I'm going to .. print like 29387297 pieces of these time-table and stick them all over my room. Momo decides that it's best that I stop piano for the time being, sigh, I guess I can still do Mazurka on my own .I'm going to miss Ms. Quek like mad, not having her around on Saturdays, just doesn't depicts Saturdays anymore.

Anyhoos, been trying to buy time to read !READING, yes, epitome of relaxation .There's absolutely no time to read because everybody's just so uptight with .. everything else .I hate how small Blogger's typing space is, unlike WordPress, I want to adjust the type space as well !Hate small spaces. Hate .

I want to watch Monk and .. Dirty Sexy Money! Really !Monk's new seasons intrigue me a whole lot .I've got a whole lot of pictures in my phone but am finding no reason to post them because .. laziness overrides.

Well, O'levels' next major paper is Science Chemistry on 20th October, before that, listening comprehension and Science pratical. Say, that's about .. exactly 4 months odd from now !Making it no less than 120 odd days till O'levels officially, start to start .For those who are still frolicking around thinking that 4 months is eternity, fun joy peace and laughter being top priority.
*Salute.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I secretly wish that I could've the mindset of taking things easy! , looking on the brighter side! and it's going to be better tomorrow! But, screw that, how many times does that actually happen .No work = No results .

Having said that, I'm going back to Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words (F&N) because .. I don't want to waste my life/time away.

Oh and lastly, when I read some blogs .I just can't help but laugh at the contents .SRSLY ?LAWL .Whatever happened to ORIGINALITY, seems like everything's a copy of another. Yes there might be coincidences, but how many times does that happen .There are instances where people BLOG like they're coming from streets of Venice and blog so artistically inclined that it seems so inappropriate coming from individuals like that, duh it's not written by them .Why can't people just blog like how they speak or think ?Srsly, blogging like that, just makes you look more queer than Britney Spears because it just doesn't fit .I don't doubt that you're trying to make a statement, give you the credit but it's just so weird .Can't help but to laugh and roll my eyes when I see people blogging like .. others .Tsk, so annoying .There should just be ONE blog because there's just so much copying around.

There's this strange sound coming from my neighbour's flat that sounds like the sound of the steamer in a jar of cold milk. It totally reminds me that I want to make my own coffee !Grind my own coffee !Froth my own hot milk !Press down my own coffee ground !!Press the double shot button on the machine !Waiting and looking at fresh, aromatic coffee dripping down into small porcelien Illy shot glasses.
I miss espresso brewing so much, hardest skills to master but the most rewarding .But so far, I've only been exposed to Illy and Lavazza .I swear, I'll install one of those espresso machines in my home.

I've just typed a entire paragraph about coffee, someone just shoot me.

Blind - Lifehouse

Extremely long post ahead .

I have had this song on my computer for the longest time but haven't gotten the chance to listen to it, until Robin told me about it.I like this song, quite alot ... Not in the best of moods today because there's just so much to do in the slightest space of time. The moon has been pretty over the past few days (although I've missed the red moon thing) and Meaner agrees.

You see, the thing is. People are constantly trying to either, make the best out of you, or create life living hell for you. It's just how life turns. One day you'll enjoy building joy out on another's misery and another day you'll be getting thrashed to pulp. I shall not sound like I'm trying to instill anything into nothing so I'll just .. abruptly end this line of rant . -insert WTF face here-

I don't really care about how people view me, how I dress (okay, maybe I do) or .. what are my first impressions on others unless the other party is someone of significance. I've grown to accept that it's a dog eat dog world and if you're not sensible enough, you'll just crash there and then. I've grown to accept that you will only succeed if you're the cream of the cream-est crops around. So if you aren't, just stfu and accept defeat.

I can't be bothered with people who go around to instigate, dictate and exclaiming whatever to the entire universe. Somehow, bottling up sometimes will bring more harm than good. What's the xucking point of telling the entire world how you feel and what's going through your mind when you just .. want to " let it out " .Looks like a case of slapping myself because I am currently blogging my thoughts down.

Oh, the irony. Whatever .

Seriously, the world doesn't revolve around you and I love, love, love to use this phrase because it's by far the most self explanatory and .. constructive phrase, evar. I am tired of people trying to bring others down, blaming others, hating teachers, hating the world, etc.

The comforting thing is, O'levels are nearing, okay, not so comforting. At least it's one step closer to leaving secondary school. Then everybody will be ranting and going on and on about how Secondary school life can never be comparable to Polytechnic school life. Face it, I don't really give a shit about comparing. No two things will ever be the same. Secondary school is this world saturated with foolish mistakes, puerile behaviours, I'm-going-to-call-my-little-army-of-gangsters-to-beat-the-shit-out-of-you, rules that nobody bothers to conform to and what not. I shan't disagree on the fact that the friends you make in secondary school are probably the ones who share the most interest with you and will probably (and hopefully) be sticking throughout. Polytechnic life may be more interesting due to the liberty you have most of the time, discipline is key but I wouldn't know, it may be the most enjoyable period of my life, or the most depressing. Nobody knows .

Friends are nothing permanent. I've seen soo much, not to sound like bleedy experienced friend professional or what-not. Best friends bitch about best friends when best friends aren't in the presence of one another. Srsly, I love the relationship between my friends because sometimes, we just talk it out on MSN and tell one another about our negative attitude(s). It's easier on MSN because when we do it face to face, we are sure to deny the shit out of everything and nothing ever gets resolved.

Sometimes, when you try to instill an idea into someone and if you think that it isn't working. Get the hell up and move the fuck on .All you can do is to be there for your friend, when that friend needs help or assistance of any kind.

And there are those whom will only come running to you with arms wide open, loving phrases and sweet nothings, only when they need you.

Honestly speaking, I know that I can be extremely hurtful, rude and impatient at .. most of the times. Can't blame me, I got it from the parental. Entire family is extremely impatient when it comes to .. well, almost everything. I speak my mind and nobody can stop me from doing so. It beats being extremely superficial yes? This is why there's only a handful of people whom can tolerate me (I hope I'm right). Sometimes, when I find out that someone I know decides to put me under the Hate list, I'll just ignore the entire hoo-haa about friendship. Kinda sad because, I've lost the ability to treasure and appreciate friends.

Frankly, most of the time, I just want to sit cosily in my comfort zone and interact with people that I can only converse and convey my ideas too. Sad to say, I can't afford to loose the ability to treasure, appreciate and adapt to strangers because, yet again, in other to survive, you need to do shit that you don't like.

I've been having extremely grotesque, torturing and deadly punishments to people I don't like running through my mind. I'd wish the worst for someone that I extremely .detest/abhor/hate. I can't even explain how much I'd wish I can shut some people up but .. as Shawn said, "just say : I'll never wish bad, but I'll never wish good either." So, thus, henceforth, hence, the aforementioned phrase shall be deeply embedded in my head, for good. It's just more humane this way, isn't it ?

I'd love to go through any phase without regretting things that I've done. Regret is one of the deadliest emotion to live with, on a long term basis or short, imo. I can't imagine living with this pang of guilt in my stomach forever .. apparently, I don't think many people cares about this feeling.I'd say, kudos to my upbringing, I take much of my actions into consideration, or at least, I've grown to take account for my actions . I'm proud of that because, I wouldn't want to be known to be someone who lives off my parent's riches, scream, bawl and lie straight on the floor when I don't get what I want .. or whatever that lies between those lines.

Mr. Eric Koh gave an account of a parent who disallowed his son to consume a cup of cold, carbonated drink at night, he probably thought that it'd trigger a cough or something. His son managed to scream, cry and threw tantrums all the way to the parking lot which was of a distance from the hawker centre. Mysteriously, after appearing from the parking lots again, the father brought his son to the drinks stall to purchase that cup of oh-so-heavenly additives infused cup of gassy colouring.

Srsly, wtf was his father thinking. Told momo about this incident and she was like, "I have never, ever, allowed you and Ben (my brother) to buy this kind of rubbish, let alone drink this kind of rubbish. You and Ben also never throw your tantrum throw until like that ... I would have kill you there lah." Which reminded me of Pam, who PROUDLY tells us if her future child cries like that, she'll slap the living hell out of her child. Not a very nice scene to picture but, I think it's for the benefits of the child !

Momo told me quite a lot of stories of my childhood when I was on her bed with Boston. She told me that she practically raised Ben and I with her own 2 hands. Which touched me quite a lot. Dr. Lam help momo a lot as well .I'm just extremely thankful that I've been raised well although my mother didn't teach me much chinese so I'm like suffering now. Can't ignore the fact that she brought up my brother well and didn't go as harsh as she did on my brother because, I was, still am her daughter ('nuff said) I'm younger and I guess she didn't want me to suffer like my brother did. Now, I wished she drilled me for abacus as she did for my brother.

I should probably end this right now in case I keep going on and on and I'll successfully and conveniently ignore the stack of chinese exam papers, screaming for me to scribble on them. I won't even go into how much time there is left for the first major paper. It's like going to happen in 10 minutes.

Meaner just came back from a 2 hour run. Random .

Dream On - Aerosmith

I have been searching franticly online for the *perfect* No-Bake Cheesecake and ... it's actually in the recipe book which has been collecting dust on the top of my CPU .Been feeling really really ignorant and oblivious to my surroundings. My swivel chair's really close to my table when I sit down to do my work and when I attempted to get out of my chair, I almost fell cause I tripped on the cables on the carpet.

TSK .I am also taking really long to reply people when they talk to me.

As much as I hate syrup/artificial drinks, I still drink the extremely diluted and overpriced fruit punch drink sold in the canteen. I should just stick to water the next time, no time to be pendulous ...

I really REALLY multiply by ten reminisce the times when I was strolling aimlessly on the streets with wind really in my hair and not perspiring from running around in the school compound. Cramming for deadlines, putting on a facade when I'm actually feeling like shit inside from all the demoralizing that I bring upon myself .Frankly, all I ever want (for probably 5 seconds) is to be like people who don't give a shit about work and who disregard every aspect of schoolwork. Entirely impossible, no matter how much I detest and abhor F&N, I'll still do it. Probably only a waiver of one or two days :/ .

Note to self : Got to aim high, work hard, study smart, be disciplined and .. you reap whatever you sow.

Because life's pleasures aren't about which club you stepped into how much of a party animal you are, life's not about what brand of cigarettes you charr your lungs with .Life's isn't about whose your ink's artist, life isn't about how drunk you can get.
Life's not about how many cows you kill to get that Birkin or Kelly. Life isn't about being embarrassed about your family or wealth. Life isn't about how many nights you stay out of the house in 7 days .
Life is definitely not about all of the above.

Life's simplest pleasures are family gatherings where every stick your grubby fingers into the box of pizza on the table. Life's about counting blessings that come your way. Life's about .. enjoying time well spent with people who love you for you are .. and not someone who you'll have to be.

I'm saying this cause, everybody is growing up too quickly. I've seen primary school mates who used to be the purest of all pure things to end up smoking and drinking their lives away. Liestyle of the rich and famous you say, I'll say a really bad case of stereotyping teenagers :)

Maybe it's my upbringing or what, but if I've got cash and I can afford to party every night. I'll rather stay at home or some nice quiet place at Holland and talk to my friends without having the need to gasp for air and fight over the stereo system.

Meaner said that discipline's my downfall, I srsly hope I change this soon cause my self-discipline suck and I know that :/ Meaner has soo many Tip-Of-The-Day! kind of reminder .Post-it note .

My right shoulder blade still hurts, I've got pictures on my phone but I'm lazy to post them cause I'm going to crash now because I just came back from a family gathering downstairs with my cousins and some aunts :)

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers of all kind especially mommies to their own dogs :)
Happy Birthday Boston ! xoxoxoxoxo .
