Kitsune Tabloid Micromix - Digitalism

I wanted to blog yesterday! Plurk was so CRAZY yesterday, no shit? Morning was the introduction of a few lovely ladies. Thanks to someone, X for her lovely music collection. BWAHAH YOU ALL DON'T HAVE EXCEPT CAKIE. *POINTS AND LAUGH*
Then at night (which was day for Cakie) we spoke in a certain kind of language which nobody will ever understand :) Secret

So, the deal is O'levels are over, right? Guess what, I don't really feel the difference. Somehow, like some of the Barflies say, the rat race will resume soon and I think this time it will come down at you twice as hard. I've been planning my December stuff and am pondering over what courses to go into. If I decide to move into a certain course, should I go for A Math lessons first? Or even sketching and painting lessons. Move into tuition courses which cater to the courses and prepare myself?

I have a gabajazillion questions but I don't know what am I asking about. It's like an equation with A FEW unknowns. I think it will take me some time, I hope M.O.E will be nice and give us a little more time, hey, this has got to do with my future and I don't want to just chuck myself into any japalang course and drift my life away.

It's 10:10am now, by this time, all of us will be anticipating for 10:45, this is when we take a well deserved break from studying and talking in the class. Then back to class and wait for 2:15pm.

I need to do something, I need to move around. I need to interact and talk to people. I need to work! Everybody is asking me why am I rushing to work but ... why not !? I'm bored shitless at home and I don't really fancy the idea of using Momo's money to satisfy the hedonistic side of me. So work first then play later. Duh?

Okay. I'm going to end abruptly because someone distracted my train of thoughts.
Off to conquer the world!

Nobody Does It Better - Carly Simon

More Post-It notes on my screen (things to do and buy after exams :D). Been trying to do Math but there's a bee in my room and Momo is blaming me because I smell very good after my showers. Wtf?! Why is it my fault again, of course, she's kidding.

Bees are so annoying, but I like honey so they're okay. They're soo annoying, gawd.

I'm obviously not thinking straight. I'm getting used to life without school! I love it~ I don't miss school, don't miss the food, don't miss the system, don't miss it at all. I wake up at 10 every morning without fail, unless I feel sick. I still wake up at 6am every morning :/ Damn. Such spoilers.

Still will feel sleepy after 12 odd, actually I feel tired easily nowsadays. :<

Anyways, I've been blogging like my blog's a personal journal. Quite an irony since a gajibillion people have access to my blog. So I shall bore my readers (who gave me $12 of goodness from the good people of Nuffnang HAHA)  with random updates of my pebbles and bottlecaps collection.

I kid. I really want a room make over and I hate the word makeover but I can't find a better word. I am getting bored of my white walls. My teddies and dolls are in the same corner and I'll never change that. I've got a million mountain full of books and papers at every end of the room. My study table isn't a study table, it's a bloody black hole of rubbishness. It stayed neat for approximately, 20 hours.

My bed frame is pretty and not as white as before. I have pink and white sheets (I've got 2 mattresses), fuschia pink covers, red baby pillow, pink blankets, white and pink cushions. Obviously the antics of the Mother. She hangs itty bitty bits of girly stuff (dolls, ornaments, lanterns) which clashes with my stuff (15" Santa Jack marionette, Living Dead Dolls and my money plant).

I wouldn't know what I would want in my room though. I'd like dim lights, a lot of fabrics, velvet red, orange, dark yellow hues and a lot fabric. In a nutshell, a gypsy inspired room with less drama.

*****

I miss the workplace. Can't explain how much I miss that place and the boys who I always work with too. Wait till the boys are done with their ACJC/SAJC stuff and we're going to start work!

Hit 'Em Up Style - Blu Cantrell

I like to surf Food Network for the entire day and look for cupcake recipes. Next cupcake recipe to try is pink cupcakes with cream cheese icing or mascarpone cupcakes with strawberry glaze. Yums. I'm also listening to Def Jay again, R&B radio.

Momo is forcing Vitamin C down my throat. Laadeedaa, I've never liked fizzy drinks. Still have to force it down.

Last day of school went pretty okay, some people just don't know when to shut their fucking gap holes. It went smoothly until ... Mrs. Peng entered the class with dosier files, peeked at my own dosier file and saw all my past offences. T-T There were spot-check slips, pink slips which I forgot what they were for, statements and more itty bitty bits of nastiness. Then I looked at my results, not fantastic. Shitty dossier file + shitty results, how da heck am I going to find a job?! *rips hair* Nobody looks at your dossier file anyways, I very much hope so.

Anyhows, I baked the 美人s some brownies. Pamela ate it and had a really weird face and I was like, oh no, does it taste like shit? I have a quirky taste, tend to like food that nobody likes. Anyways they love it :D!

Then I had this amazing amaaaaazing idea for a BBQ. Sometimes there are instances where people invite you over for BBQs right, so I thought of baking them brownies, top them with crushed graham crackers, banana slices, chopped chocolate bits, marshmellows and then wrap it up tightly in aluminium foil. Reach aforementioned BBQ and just plonk it on the grill and everything melts into goodness and TADAH, you get BROWNIE S'MORES. I'm going to try this the next BBQ that I attend.
Instant gratification does not have to come in a box! (quote Nigella)

Like Pamela, I'm going to end this post with something overused and corny.
A few more days to the start of the O'levels. The more I can answer Wilfred/Chemistry TYS' answers the more confident I am. Tried, tested and proven. Practice makes perfect and you definitely reap what you sow.
All the best and see you guys at the finish line! (only to the people I like only, duh. *roll eyes*)

等 - 李克勤

The 4th and the last term ends next Friday, 3rd October. How do I feel? Elated, overjoyed? It's a huge concoction of reactions that I can't put my finger on and decide. HSS days started off fun.  Really fun, it was quite overwhelming to change from a school like Nanyang Primary School to HSS in a span of a few months. There was a lot of Chinese speaking kids going around, was kind of awkward to converse in Mandarin. Hmm.

First day was when my dad dropped me off with his then new RAV4 with a new paint job and I left my transparent Nike water bottle in the car, then Ben called out and I scurried back to get it. Random enough but I remember it quite clearly.

Moving on, I think I screwed up quite badly for my lower secondary years. I don’t even recalling mugging for any exams for the heck of it. Seriously, can’t say I regret my decisions because it’s over. I had some really devoted teachers that I’ve known since the first days of school. Mdm Khong’s pretty cool, the way she criticizes people is just some talent that God decides to give her and I like the way she can relate to our mindsets.

Then there’s Ms David, Ms Yanti, Ms Toh, Mr Teo, Mr George, Mdm Salbiah, Mr Thiru. The list goes on and on. Ironically, the more I screwed up, the more the relationship between my teachers and I grew. It actually got better. Hahah, I’ve already accepted the, “If you can’t lead, you can only follow” rule if you’re in school. The people who are in authority are the ones in authority and nothing can actually change that lil’ wee bit of fact. As much as students hate it, they’d still have to abide to rules, if not, you get out. Without a certificate.

I don’t know what the fuck you can do with a PSLE certificate.

Moving on, I’d miss HSS. Yes, I’d definitely miss this place. I’ll miss the teachers and some friendships forged. I’m actually happy to leave it because of some of the people in this school as well. I’ve pretty much seen enough hypocrites that can last me 5 years. Then again, more to come, not to worry.

I’ll never miss the routine in school. Arrive, take keys, sign in, wait for 10:45, eat and talk, move up to class and wait for 2:15. Finish school and scoot over to get some bubble tea or head over to Subway/Koufu for lunch. Head home, do work, sleep, repeat x 365 days. I am more than glad to leave the routine, just for a little while.

Some really good friends I’ve met along the way? In no particular order but, YK, the one whom I’ve known since the 1st year, he’s one of those guy friends who takes good care of me. Jeremy and BK, from 1st year as well, although he’s annoying but he’s a nice guy that you can rely on if you just need to rant to someone. Then there’s Pamela and ChunHui, although I’ve only grown closer to them recently, it’s another special friendship that I’d hold close to my black heart (I’m very heartless one). Gerald and Benedict are the few who I’ll laugh with all the time. Gilbert, Kaixin, Yingeh and Chun Quan are friends that I’ll never forget as well, thanks, you guys.

There’s so many more but I can’t list all of them out. I’d crash the server or something.

Then there’s Elizebeth Megan Wong Xiao Wen and Alicia Tan Ying Ying,2 girlfriends in a clique that pwns the other cliques instantly. I’ll probably still remember them even if I just woke up from a 10 year long coma *choy*. I don’t know how in the flipping blue hell we managed to be such great girlfriends. We’re so hostile to one another and it just makes me smile from my heart when I know they’re such frikkin bitches. We’ve dreamt big dreams together and will continue to do so. From a stranger’s point of view, we’re all aloof and we just want to get rid of one another asap, there’s just too much death staring going on. We don’t need a huge horde of people in our clique. We just hostile one another can already.

You know, to heck to what people have to say about one another in front of us. Rumors and gossips can only go that far. People can try all their might to tarnish me or my reputation, but, I can’t be bothered.  As cliché as it sounds, I am who I am and nothing can actually change that. It baffles me, how people can treat friends like that. There’s so much hating going on but on the surface everybody looks fine and dandy with little frangipanis in their right ear, oh please, for the love of God, just stop it already.

So, in a nutshell, I guess leaving school after 5 long arduous years is easy. Technological advancements makes it so much easier, thank you all Greek mythology Gods, Benjamin Franklin and random scientists for discovering Electricity.

Meanwhile, mug hard friends, all the best for your GCE O’levels and work hard! See you guys at the finish line with a really good looking laminated certificate.
