Haru Haru - Big Bang

Huge bruises everywhere.

Lunch with Barflies at Suntec's Crystal Jade after passing CNY stuff to the lawyers at Tower 2.

Crystal Jade's fried shrimp wanton is damn nice.

Lies - Big Bang

Lies is my new favourite song, listened to it from Pasir Ris to Jurong :D

Anyhows, I'm back from the chalet!! People present.
First night, ME!! JianMing, Jem, KaiXin, YinHui, Gilbert, ChunQuan, ChenXing, ChuanFeng,Agnes, Diana and Xander.
Second night, Agnes and Diana left. CheongJie, Ace, Chris, Kacy, Gabriel and Xander came. JiaYi joined in the evening.

Chalet was pretty amazingly fun :) A lot of laughters, whatever happens in the chalet, stays within the chalet! Second night, something unfavourable happened, nonetheless, everything is pretty much settled. Probably got to thank a lot of people for talking some sense into my head.

The food was REALLLLLYY good. Probably the best bbq I've been to cause all I did was to sit behind the person cooking and wait for food :D !! Dory fish is the best.

We spent so much time camwhoring on JianMing and Gilbert's notebooks :D Waiting for pictures from KaiXin and YinHui too! Shabby description of the chalet because we're keeping secrets, within the chalet!

Things that made me laugh A LOT :
- "You want to take my PICTURE?!?"
- KaiXin poking my butt with her finger.
- Ace's blockbuster film of the night.
- "La sao zai na li?" instead of la jiao, chilli. (Okay, I love it when people say things wrongly. I will keep laughing my head off because it is so hiliarious. Like I forgot who said kotipiam instead of kopitiam.)
- Playing Snorta with KaiXin, YinHui, Gabriel and Chris. "AIIYAH, just take it."
- I kept saying, "the fire is very huat"
- Wasabi.
- Shen Tiao Xia Lu. (dunno how to type in chinese)
- Camwhoring on notebooks.
- So much more, I cannot remember!!

I'll plan something soon :)

Butterfly - Jason Mraz

Momo went to shop with YingShan :( my brother's girlfriend and they shopped for damn long :(, left kor, me and baby Boston at home all alone, starving and sad :(

But Momo bought me Ipanema slippers, NafNaf hairbands, anklets, tops from Esprit and other random bits. Happy!

Might be going to Dr. Lam's house to teach Esther and Emily. Either English, Art, Piano or Chinese. Or everything :/

Chalet from Monday - Wenesday! Yay. Hope it goes well. I am attempting to squeeze 3 days worth of clothes, my 抱抱, hoodie, towel, all the shampoos and all that into my black leather back pack. I hope I can squeeze everything in :D

This is the most pointless update ever.

Jem asked why didn't I update, so here I am. 10:05am of a morning, having to sleep at 3am, I am freaking grouchy. Skated last night for a little while, sat at the bus stop to start thinking about stuff, Xander walked by and we took 963 back. My greatest peeve is people without a sense of hygiene, no social etiquette and refusing to keep their freaking annoying voices down, the entire cabin knows what your auntie's grand-daughter is having for breakfast already. You can half guess what I experienced on the bus, cabs ftw.

I have no idea why do I need to type so much when I just can type, "I hate taking public transport". I think I'm freaking naggy. I keep saying freaking because I am supposed to stop cursing and swearing. I limit myself to "freaking" first, okay? *looks at Uncle Fong*

I can never ever never ever ever comprehend why a __________ can't be free of ambiguities. I mean seriously, why so much politics and hidden agendas? Why does Linxi get so pissed off easily and let her anger talk, instead of taking it easy, going with the flow, listen to Jason Mraz and let things ease out? The ultimate reason is, it wouldn't ease out on it's own. It's like a pandemic disease where everything ceases out at the end of the day. All the more I should ignore it right? Whatever happened to holding onto something you hold close to yourself, putting in efforts to maintain something, instead of just letting it shrivel and dissipate and be gone forever.

Maybe, just maybe, once __________ is gone. Some people manages to get hold of another __________ very easily, like within the span of 5 seconds. Hence treating __________ like any other, ordinary, non-biodegradable, disposable Styrofoam box. Basically, like crap.

I don't want to whine liao.

Real Girl - Mutya Buena

So I guess most of everybody probably would have heard one another's results. I wouldn't say 16 is terribly horrendous, but having to fail Math, it's probably one of the most dire cases which I, for one, obviously hoped didn't happen.

Who cares if people think I'm being a drama queen and still crying even if I got 16. I guess it's the agony I felt when I realized I probably almost met my targets for the majority of the papers. Humanities aside, although I was looking at a B3, got a B4 instead. The rest of the results were acceptable and I was most satisfied with Chinese and Sciences. F&N was a delight. English was alright too I guess. Everything is alright as of this moment because there's so much more that I want.

Crying at the hall is because I, seriously thought I couldn't get into any Polytechnic courses, 'cus I once heard someone said that failing Math means you cannot enter any course in Polytechnic.

Whatever the case, I'm eligible for the courses that I take interest in. *Thank God* Having to fret over courses that I like, in comparism to courses that I'm not interested in, is a whole lot better.

The Momo thinks that I did very well and that this set of results have been the best so far. If she thinks it's okay, I think it should be fine. I'm still annoyed by the fact that I failed Math, when it is so paramount when it concerns Polytechnic education. Big mega huge sigh. Math is so important.. but I somehow, can never grasp the concept.

Meanwhile, I got to make my decisions quick, dragging it on will make everything seem like a huge blur. Still trapped in the bubble where everything is thrown in my direction, bouncing off the walls and hitting me back again and again...

Uncertainty is seriously draining every inch of happiness from me. There's always a fine line between every choice, then there's waiting and hoping, alongside with empty promises of working harder the next time round, hence hoping someone out there will give me that one chance.

Then it's back to hoping and waiting all over again.

Hope is too big of a word. I want, and not hope to want.
All that's left to do is do be decisive and accept what I have in front of me now. Pieces of paper strewn everywhere and random clippings of course details. Maybe it's time to get myself organized. Room, thoughts, wants. Everything straightened out once and for all.

To my friends, let's hope to see everyone of us enjoying what we do, and screaming for joy when we receive our school postings. What's done been done, 加油吧，别气馁，再辛苦一点点而已。

Weird chinese song - Channel 8, 7pm drama.

Okay, so the deal is our results will be released next Monday 12th January, I'm sure most of you heard about it on the news.

Felt a huuuuge sense of relief.. well at least I know something now! So basically we have 5 days to fill that form.. Friday, 17th January and school posting will be out on the 30th of January. Fast? Hell yes it's fast, but I still have no clue on what course to venture into. I think I've blogged about this before like, a thousand and one times, to the point that I'm sick of thinking of what I should do :( But I cannot not think of what courses to go into right. Yes and no and yes and no and no and yes and no and yes and no and yes.

I should totally.. find someone to talk to about this.

Happy Ending - Mika

Sole reason I don't want to learn anything new because it's gonna require money. Ever had the feeling of seeing cash in front of you, but you don't dare to spend it?

Because you've been told that you're one year older, almost 18. Learn how to save a little.

That's what I'm gonna do. Save money.

Stop texting like there's no tomorrow. (the downside of being a fast typer, you send too many text messages)
Stop taking cabs. 30% or no 30% charge. Stop.
Stop staying out late = midnight cab fares.
Find a new hobby *looks at Jem, woo are you thinking what I'm thinking*?
PLAY MORE PIANO = stay at home.
Bring Boston out 6 times a day?
Read.

Happy Ending - Mika

This is the way you left me,

Spent my last few hours of 2008 inline skating with a bunch of strangers :) Alongside with Jem! KX and YH who came later. Story is, Jem asked if we wanted to skate, so I said why not? Something new every year. So made my way down to Bukit Panjang to grab food (takopachi from BP Plaza sucks) and drinks. Walked to Petir and started to skate. Met Jem's friends who were ZenEarth (sp?) skaters? Pretty funny guys and girls :)

People present (try to remember as many as I can!)
- Jem, Kx, Yh, Me?, Eric, Ace (I can't rmb his Chinese name), KC/Kacy, Gabriel, Ace's cousin, forgot his name ._.,Emma, Amanda, Phillip?, Jia Yi, Yi zheng? Shao Xuan?, Bryan, Justin, Jie, Kelvin, Yong Wen?, Lizzy, Rudy, Michelle. K cannot remember already ._.

Was initially skeptical about the whole idea of skating whilst wearing FBT shorts, after stopping for an fextremely long period of time. Whined my way through and realized I still remember a little when I was skating during my Primary school days. All I'll do when I came back from school was to change out of my white pleated skirt and go round and round the old Choa Chu Kang estate. I lived on the first storey and it was quite fun to skate IN the house then skate out of the house to get groceries from the mini-mart 10 minutes away.

Told Momo at 2am odd that I had a lot of fun when I was skating today. Although I was skating really slowly... really .... slowly ..... I still could remember how much fun I had just skating around Blk 231/230. :) Momo said she gets extremely worried when I skate around the estate. Dad's workers came to our house and ate during New Year. Random.

Downside:
- Clever me brought really thin ankle socks, not that I had a choice, but.. DAMN my ankle is sore and red from the tight straps and super hard boot :(
- Hit my tailbone twice and now it's REALLY sore, I cannot lean back and nua (LINNY CANNOT NUA!!!!). Must constantly sit up right to avoid resting on my tailbone.

- FBT shorts. Nuff said. Momo's gonna complain about the little iddy biddy bruises and is gonna say I'm never gonna get married if I continue to be so rowdy.

- Being the cinderella that I am, I left pretty early. like 1:40am?
